Legacy Panel Verification Resource

As of December 31, 2008 production of retired or discontinued products, known as "Legacy Products" has ceased. This is a major concern for building owners or end-users that still have one of these systems installed in their facility as replacement parts will only be available for a limited time.

Proactive Solution:

  1. Determine if you have a legacy system in your building
  2. Create a bid package, plans and specification for proposal process. (Critical Systems can assist with this)
  3. Invite qualified fire alarm contractors to survey and provide competitive proposals for the replacement
  4. Take proactive steps to implement system replacement right away in order prevent the high cost of an emergency retrofit
